The firm

True data.

Verdatia is coined from the Latin verus — true — and data. That's the whole promise, and we picked a name we'd have to live up to every month.

Mission

Run books and finance systems an executive can sign without a second look.

Vision

A back office where every number traces to source — and software does the busywork.

Working rules

How we hold ourselves.

  1. Claims are verifiable or absent. If we can't show it, we don't say it.

  2. Numbers over adjectives. "Closed on day four" beats "fast turnaround."

  3. Problems get named plainly. Bad news early is a service. Bad news late is a bill.

  4. A status email every Friday. Done, next, flags — whether or not you asked.

  5. Systems over heroics. If it only works because someone remembered, it doesn't work.

How we work

The rhythm.

  • 01ChannelsEmail for anything formal or financial. WhatsApp for the day-to-day. We won't make you learn a new tool to talk to us.
  • 02Friday statusEvery week, same shape: what's done, what's next, what's flagged. You never have to ask where things stand.
  • 03Engagement lettersFixed scope, fixed quote, payment terms agreed before work starts.
  • 04HoursDaily overlap with US and UK working hours.

Shahzaib Rafiq · CEO

Shahzaib has spent his career in construction finance — building and running the job-costing, change-order, and pay-application systems that contractors bill and get paid on. He designs the finance systems and AI agents Verdatia sells, and runs them in his own work before they reach a client.

He founded Verdatia in July 2026 on a simple observation: most finance problems in small businesses aren't accounting problems, they're systems problems wearing an accounting costume.

You work directly with the person who does the work.
