AI & automation for small businesses

We run these agents in our own work first. Everything below is something we operate, not something we read about.

A session teaches, a sprint installs, a build ships.

• 01 AI strategy Where AI pays in your business, and where it doesn't. You get a written assessment, process by process: what to automate, what to leave alone, what it costs to build, what it saves per month, and what we'd do first. Sometimes the honest answer is "not this, not yet" — that's a finding, not a failure.
• 02 AI implementation The agent built, running in your stack, documented, handed over. AI agents for bookkeeping operations (bill entry, categorization, reconciliation prep) · QuickBooks Online and Xero API automations · document→ledger pipelines · automated report distribution · Zapier and Make integrations · small internal finance tools.

04 · Engagement & rates

How pricing works

Every engagement starts with a free discovery session — tell us what's broken, and we'll answer straight on whether we can help. No charge to ask.

AI working sessions and training have published prices you can simply buy. Everything else — including bookkeeping, construction finance, and CFO work — is quoted fixed before work begins, after a free discovery session. No surprise hours, no open meters.

Published rates cover AI working sessions and training only. Every other service — including bookkeeping and accounting — is scoped per engagement.

Everything else

Bookkeeping, construction finance, controller and CFO work, dashboards, and done-for-you AI builds are scoped per engagement. A build's cost depends on what we find in discovery, so we don't publish a number we'd have to walk back — we quote it fixed, in writing, before anything starts.

Founding-client terms for our first engagements: preferential rates in exchange for a reference.

Process

Three steps, no mystery.

1. Tell us what's broken. Two questions, then a straight answer on whether we can help — including "no" if that's the answer.

2. An AI working session, or a scoped engagement for everything else. Engagement letter, fixed scope, payment terms agreed up front.

3. A status email every Friday. Done, next, flags. You always know where your work stands.
